Mary “Bea” Keogh, age 66, of Toms River, NJ passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Limerick City, Ireland, she was a longtime resident of Middletown before moving to Toms River 12 years ago. Bea was a bartender at the Wild Stallion in Middletown, NJ for many years. She later worked as a waitress at the Happy Hour in Berkeley Twp. for 10 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River. Bea was predeceased by her husband James Keogh, her parents Terence & Christina Whelan, a brother Terence Whelan and a sister Dolores Whelan.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law Richard & Alissa Zaborney of Greenbrier, TN, 2 grandchildren Makenzie & Jack Zaborney, her significant other Al Huff of Toms River, 3 step children Sean Keogh of Middletown, NJ, Patricia Keogh of CA and Michael Nordstrom of Ocean Township, 8 siblings and their spouses Myra Rooney of Yonkers, NY, Annette & William Neighbor of Ship Bottom, NJ, Helen Eldridge of Goodlettsville, TN, Patrick Whelan of Fernanda Beach, FL., Catherine McClelland of Toms River, Gerard & Susan Whelan of Middletown, NJ, Christina & Eric Howell of Goodlettsville, TN, Raymond & Vicki Whelan of Middletown, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
