Mary Anne Williams Gloer, 79 of Newnan, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born December 9, 1937 in LaGrange to the late Joe Vincent Williams & Annie Clyde Reeves Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe V. Williams, Jr.
Mary Anne was born and raised in LaGrange and graduated from Rosemont High School. She retired from Bellsouth after 32 years of service. Never one to be idle in her retirement, Mary Anne worked at Newnan Hospital and at Georgia Bone & Joint for 12 years. She was a member of Sharpsburg Baptist Church and previously was a member of Heatherwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include children, Judy D. Pitts, Kathy J. Polk, Donna (David) King, Mark (Lee) Pitts; sister, Betty (Woody) Harry; grandchildren, Melissa Hubbard, Bryan D. King, Nick R. (Jackie) Martino, Kaci (Daniel) Byrd, Kiley Polk, Mark A. (Angelina) Pitts, II; great-grandchildren, Lynsey, Kaitlyn, Parker, Jake, Blake, Rylee, Mark III and special friend, Dan Pritchett.
