Mary Ann (Volk) Romontio, passed away Oct. 24, 2013, in Tucson, AZ. Mary Ann was born Oct. 6, 1926, in Pueblo, Colo. to Frank and Frances (Kocjancic) Volk. Her parents, her sister Frances and brothers Frank, Joseph and John preceded her in death. Mary Ann is survived by her husband George of 66 years, son and daughter-in-law Gary & Jan Romontio, daughter and son-in-law Karen & Steve Gasser, grandchildren Stephanie & Steve Dietzman, Matthew & Stephanie Gasser, Staci Gasser and great grandson Jacob Matthew Gasser. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Rose Volk, Ann Volk, Irene Yates, Lydia Romontio and brother-in-law James DiOrio along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mary Ann was a homemaker who cared for her family, home and friends. She and George lived in Florence 43 years, in Canon City 21 years and in Oro Valley, AZ. two years. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Lodge, No. 104, Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars, No. 4061 and of St.
