Mary Ann Stephenson, 89, of Anderson, passed away on January 22, 2015 at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on September 11, 1925 in Orestes, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She retired from Alac Garment Services and was very proud of working there for over 50 years. She was an avid card player, enjoyed playing bingo, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving daughter, Carol (David) Grimes of Markleville; grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Wilkins and Brody (fiancee’ Jennifer Mitchell) Grimes; great-grandchildren, A.J. Wilkins, Brooklyn Wilkins, and Kennedy Wilkins. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father, Arthur Shaffer; mother, Christina Shaffer; husband, Elmer L. Stephenson; and brother, Paul Shaffer.
