Those left to honor Mary Ann’s memory are her son, Bill (Robin) Shaw of Delafield, Wisconsin; daughter, Cheryl (Steve) Ferguson of Grimes, Iowa; her 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson, Declan; her sister, Candy (Fred) Baltz of Newton; 2 brothers, David (Mercia) McMain of Texas and Brad (Betty) McMain of Texas; her best friend, Jolane Snodgrass; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Margaret (Nelson) McMain; husband, Willian in 1989; and a sister, Judy Parsons.
Mary Ann was the owner/administrator of Careage of Newton for 10 years. Prior to that she had also been the owner/administrator of Nelson Manor Nursing Home.
