(Nee-Hackett) On November 28, 2010, of Audubon, NJ. Age 77 years.Born July 26, 1933 in Audubon, NJ, home of her parents and grandparents. Daughter of William J. and Emily V. (Matousch) Hackett. Lived her entire wonderful life in Audubon. Apple of her father’s eye. Family matriarch. Audubon High School graduate 1951. The most beautiful blue eyes, the most engaging smile, the most generous spirit. Great legs. Married the love of her life, William (Bill) Naulty in 1952, who died in 1999. Fiercely loyal and generous to her brother and sisters, her five kids, her grandchildren, her nieces and nephews and her many dear close friends and neighbors (especially Marie, MG, Grazia, Louise and Joe Pat). Big heart, patient and kind. Joined the Philadelphia Inquirer at 45 and worked her way up from secretary to ad sales over a 20 year career. An artist who loved to paint portraits with George Vail, her pal of many years. Loved opera and country music. Great story teller. Could sew anything from ball gowns to Halloween costumes for her grandkids. Bowling champ, great golfer, best cook in Audubon. Avid Phils and Eagles fan, even and especially during the bad years. Caregiver, joy giver, fun loving, world traveler. Never saw an open door she didn’t walk through. She was beautiful. She had style. We will miss her.She is survived by five children: Billy, Peggy (Terry), Linda, Jake (Jenna) and Brian; six grandchildren: Ian, Emma, Emily, Michaela, Sophia and Charlotte; her best pal and little sister, Elaine, who selflessly cared for her at home for the past year.Thank you to Liz, Kevin and Danielle, who eased her mind by taking care of Billy. Thank you to her doctor, George Schmid, for all of the house calls, and to the Bayada Nurses and Samaritan Hospice for their good care of her for these many months.Contributions may be made in her honor to the Ritz Theater, 915 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ 08107.
