Mary Ann Fox, 71, of Freeport, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home.Born January 31, 1940 in Buhl, Idaho she was the daughter of Harry and Reva (Reed) Slater. She married Enoch “Dan” Fox Jr. January 11, 1960 and he died November 24, 1988.
Mary Ann worked for the Journal Standard for 10 years and 20 years for the Post Office as a rural carrier retiring in 1999.
Surviving are her daughters, Karla K. Fox of Freeport and Kathy (Dennis) Swalve of Florence Station; 1 son, Donald G. (Kori) Fox of Lena; 7 grandchildren, Tom Fuchs, Shannon and Daniel Swalve, Tristan, Jacob, Zachary, and Grace Fox; 1 great grandson, Gavin Fuchs. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
