Mary Ann Cameron of Stockton, IL, left to be with the angels. She had fought a great and courageous battle with health problems for the past 25 years. Mary was fortunate enough to receive the wonderful “Gift of Life” three times by receiving donated organs.
Mary was born on June 15, 1958 to Eldon (Tuffy) and Evelyn (Ganshirt) King in Freeport, IL. She was a 1976 graduate of Stockton High School.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Tuffy, father in law, Ermal D. Cameron, & mother in law, Rosie Lee Cameron. Mary had a son, Mark Rowe, in 1974. Mary and Rod Cameron were united in marriage on June 28, 1986 in Las Vegas, NV.
She is survived by her mother Evelyn, the “four men in her life” Ermal (Rod) Cameron II, son Mark Rowe (Jamie Evans), and her two perfect grandchildren, Chase and Casey Rowe, all of Stockton. She is also survived by four brothers, whom she loved dearly, Roger King, Richie (Peggy) King, Gene (Barb) King, all of Stockton, Ted (Lori) King of Freeport, Uncle Don King of Palm Springs, CA, and many nieces and nephews. Gene and Roger King were organ donors of her first two “Gifts of Life.” Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons. She enjoyed playing the slot machines and was an avid Stockton Blackhawks fan.
