Mary Ann’s identity was enveloped in her role as a nurse. Always a caregiver, whether at home or at work, and with anyone who needed her compassion and warmth. One of her greatest gifts was her humility and quiet demeanor. She will be remembered for advising others to “do what you think is right”. Beyond her love of being a nurse, she was an avid reader, gardener and will be sorely missed by her canine companion, “Miss Molly”. Mary Ann was predeceased by her loving husbands, Joseph T. She was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Robert Farrelly and Jack Carragher and sister-in law Catherine Baggiero. Mary Ann was fortunate to have married three wonderful men who all loved her unconditionally. Mary Ann had the unique ability to effortlessly blend her extended family, making all feel welcome in her home. In 1961, Mary Ann and Joe Meucci were married and together they spent 20 years raising four beautiful children, attending sporting events and vacationing at the Connecticut shore. Eight years later, Mary Ann married Norm Condit. Together they enjoyed many adventures including weekends in Newport, vacations to the Outer Banks, flying kites and attending hot air balloon events. Many would marvel at the love they so obviously shared. Finally, her marriage to Ken Steadman in 2003, included building a home in New Hartford and sharing in a wonderful companionship, complete with true dedication and devotion to each other. Mary Ann’s children are eternally grateful for the love and support Ken so willingly showed to Mary Ann during her struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
