Mary Alice Riggs
Mary Alice Riggs, 86, of Rowlesburg, passed away Monday February 8, 2016 at her home.
She was born March 10, 1929, in Manheim, the daughter of the late Juddy and Etta Mae Shaffer Plum.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She was a member of the Rowlesburg Senior Citizens, Christ United Methodist Church and their Bible Study Group.
She is survived by her two sons, Donald Riggs and wife, Sarah and Roger Riggs and wife, Carolyn all of Rowlesburg; her two daughters, Peggy White and husband, Lawrence of Berryville, VA and Robbin Hooton of Albuquerque, NM and a daughter in-law, Ellen Riggs of Kingwood; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Riggs; a son, Jimmy Wayne Riggs; four brothers, Lewis, Joseph, Alfred and Randall Plum; two sisters, Betty Jo Lambert and Wanda Matlick.
