Rosie Peak, age 90 of Cardington passed on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on November 17, 1926 to John and Sadie (Steele) Estes who preceded Rosie in death. Rosie attended Marion Harding High School. She went on to work in the cafeteria for both the Lutheran Camp and Cardington-Lincoln School. Rosie also served as a carrier delivering the Marion Star. She was active with the United Methodist Women of Fulton. On July 4, 1946 Rosie married Robert Peak Sr., who preceded her in death. Rosie is survived by her three sons Robert Jr. (Sheryl) Peak of Cardington, Ronald (Kristi) Peak of Indiana, Bryan (Melody) Peak of Cardington, and her daughter Linda (Ed) Bonnette of Cardington; 13 grand-children; 17 great-grand-children; and 4 great-great-grand-children. In addition to her parents and husband, Rosie was preceded in death by four brothers Don, Al, Ken, and John Estes; and three sisters June Potts, Phyliss Miles, and Geraldine Kizzee.
