Mary Alice Deere, 78, passed away on the morning of January 17, 2018 in Indianapolis. She was born December 13, 1939 to the late Robert and Mary Fulk in Terre Haute, Indiana. She married the late Richard Deere on November 27, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana. For over 50 years, Mary was a member of the Parent Teacher Associations (PTA) at Perry Township Schools and at IPS School #14. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge No. 1883, American Legion Auxiliary Greenwood Post #252 and The Girl Scouts of Indiana for 10 years. Mary was a volunteer at Rise Learning Center for over 25 years.
Mary Alice is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Bob) von Schwedler, Kathy (Bill) Banther, Patty (Todd) Dorman, Mary Beth (Brian) Dillow, Judy (Fred) Ferguson, Linda (Bill) Dillon, Becky (Willie) Cochran and Sandy (Bob) Baker; 25 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
