Muncie – Mary Alice Booher Sipes, 57, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sipes worked as a Media Specialist with Ball State University for over 31 years, until her retirement in 2011. She was a board member of the Serenity Club of Muncie. Mary was a cat lover and animal enthusiast.
Survivors include her husband of over 25 years Rick Sipes, Muncie; two sisters, Barbara Booher, Muncie, and Nancy English, (husband-Gary), Carmel; four step-Children, Tamara Luke, Alexandria, Melissa Dotson, Alexandria, Todd Sipes, Alexandria, and Skip Sipes, (wife-Megan), Scottsville, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren, including one who lived with her, Breanna Utterback; four great grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews, Jim Booher, Robert Booher, Mark Booher, Nicole Cruzinha, Tom English, and Kristen English.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Richard Booher.
