Mary Alice (Ambrose) Frowner of the Manila Community of Jackson, AL traded time for eternity on Sunday, August 24, 2019 at her residence. Born June 15, 1949 to Hosie Ambrose and Lucille Nicholson, she was 70 years of age.
Mary was educated through the Clarke County Public School System and was employed by Vanity Fair for several years. She united at an early age with the Little Burrough Baptist Church in Manila, AL. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her joy.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John M. Frowner; son, Rodrick Frowner; two daughters, Lisa Frowner and Lolita Jackson; granddaughter, Kamiyah Frowner; grandmother, Mamie F. Nicholson; brother, Robert Ambrose; and sister, Rose Gamble.
Left to forever cherish her memories are two sons, Connie Frowner, Manila, AL and John Frowner, Mobile, AL; three daughters, Shirley Kimbrough and Mary Frowner, both of Manila, AL, and Karen Frowner, Zimco, AL; eighteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; seven sisters, Mamie Frowner and Barbara (Jr.) Caster, both of Mobile, AL, Martha (Henry) Frowner, Manila, AL, Augustine Bryant and Emma Bryant, both of Walker Springs, AL, Lou Ida (Levi) Mark, Creola, AL, and Helen Hunt, Alma, AL; two brothers, Jessie (Rebecca) Ambrose, Mobile, AL and Charles (Janice) Ambrose, Butler, AL; son-in-law, Derrick Jackson, Manila, AL; three brothers-in-law, Webster Frowner, Kansas City, MO, Bennie Frowner, and Phillip (Annie) Frowner, both of Alma, AL; two sisters-in-law, Mary Kirksey, Chicago, IL, and Aretha Frowner, Alma, AL; uncle, C. J. Clarke, Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
