Mary A. Wilson, 98 of Newnan passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Newnan. She was born July 1, 1922 in Meriwether County, GA. She was one of 7 children born to Walter Pope and Jimel Adcock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, John (Boots) R. Wilson; son-in law, Buddy Wilson; three sisters and three brothers. She was a long- time active member of Senoia Baptist Church, most recently a member of Unity Baptist Church. Loved by all who knew her because she loved all. She is survived by her children, Barbara Wilson, Joann(Aubrey) Mitchell and Darlene (Cal) Massengale; grandchildren, Terri (Steve) Hedden, Debbie (Jay) Jones, John Cal Massengale, Suzie (Todd) Dozier and Shay (Ian) Goldenberg; great-grandchildren, Natalie Hedden, Will Jones, Ellie Jones, Cole Dozier, Ellie Dozier, Lauren Dozier, Gray Goldenberg and Greenley Goldenberg; numerous nieces and nephews.
