Mary A. Warren, 72 of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born February 2, 1944 in Centralia, daughter of Ray Huggins and Dorothy (Redferin) Huggins. She married Charles Warren in 1990 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
She is survived by three children: Penny Knepp of Centralia, Gary Benjamin and wife Kathy of Salem, and Kenny Benjamin and wife Julie of Kell; four grandchildren: Warren Knepp, Jr. of Centralia, Nick Benjamin of Salem, Josh Benjamin and Jordan Benjamin both of Centralia; four great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Karter, Kendell, and Carson; a brother, Mike Huggins of Centralia; two sisters: Nancy Cooper of Decatur and Carol Peterson of Washington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers: Charles Huggins, Larry Huggins, Don Huggins, and Jimmy Huggins.Mary enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and having big dinners. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, friends and her four-legged companions: Nick and Sadie.
