Mary A. Day Gore, 94, Anderson, went to be with God February 10, 2012 at her residence.
She was born January 31, 1918 in Livingston, TN, and lived the majority of her life in Anderson. Mary was a caregiver and a member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Billy Gore of Anderson; sisters, Laura Sells Joe of Anderson & Myrtle Johnson of Baxter, TN; several nieces & nephews; special friends, Karen & Van Edmundson and Clyde House; and special neighbor, Velma Gourley.
The family would also like to give special thanks to St. John’s Hospice and Dr. Carol Magee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Raymond J. Gore; parents, William O. & Della Gore Day; and seven siblings.
