Mary A. Farwell
Mary A. Farwell, age 90, of Danbury, died at Glen Hill Convalescent Center in Danbury on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.
She was born in Danbury, CT, March 2, 1923, daughter of the late Frederick Sherman Farwell and Carrie (Smith) Farwell, and was a 1941 graduate of Danbury High School. She was part of Farwell Orchards of Danbury, growing vegetables, as well as working at Farwell’s Farm Market for many years.
Mary is survived by her brother: Sherman B. Farwell and her nieces: Faith F. Todd and Carol Stetson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters: Hope F. Todd and Marguerite F. Prokopy; her brother: Alan S. Farwell and nephew: Dr. Ronald Prokopy.
