Mary Brandon, 83, Ft. Oglethorpe died Tuesday, February 8, 2005. She was a longtime member of Rossville Baptist Tabernacle where she had been the Ladies Sunday School teacher since May, 1972. Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brandon, daughter, Betty Jean Chastain, son, Garland “Jabo” Brandon, and sister, Lee Emma Morrison. Survivors include daughters, Teresa Brandon Horner, Dorothy Coley, both of Ringgold, Mary Ruth Jacob, Morristown, TN; sons, James Harvey “Jimmy” Brandon, Richard Lebron Brandon, both of Ringgold, Steve Brandon, Nathan Brandon, both of Ft. Oglethorpe; sister, Ella Mae Kilgore, Ringgold; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
