Marvin Steven Steinman, born May 4, 1929, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous fight against MS.  Marvin was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Marvin served in the U.S. Army and was assigned to the Armed Forces Radio Network stationed in Europe.  Marvin, better known as Mike Saxon on the air, enjoyed a very successful career in radio broadcasting.  Of his many accomplishments, Mike was best known as the number one drive time DJ for KRHM and KISS radio in Los Angeles.  After moving to Niceville in the 1970’s, Mike became a local on-air radio personality working with WFSH in Niceville and WMEZ in Pensacola. In recent years, Marvin was partnered with his son, Marc Steinman, and family in their local family business, Big Apple Bagels, in Shalimar.  His family wishes to thank the wonderful support of caregivers through Covenant Hospice and L & M home care.
