  Marvin Schancupp Marvin Schancupp, age 87, of South Palm Beach, Florida and Danbury, Connecticut, devoted husband of Barbara Quel Schancupp, died at his residence in South Palm Beach on Monday, February 24, 2014. Born in Gouvenir Hospital in New York City, he was the son of Sophie Grusky and William Schancupp. Following the death of his mother, Sophie, he and his beloved brother, the late Norman Schancupp, lived for several years with the Perlmutter family. Upon his father’s remarriage to Sarah Price, he became the adopted son of Sarah. Marvin attended Stuyvesant High School, graduating in 1945. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as Materials Manager in Production Control for Heli-Coil Corporation in Danbury. Marvin was the devoted father of Amy Elisabeth Schancupp Storozum, Hilary Jane Davis, Jennifer Lynn Schancupp, and Pamela Lea Schancupp; he is also survived by his beloved sons-in-law, Steven Storozum, Ronald Davis, Frank Watson and Mark Young. He was the loving grandfather of Matthew Howard Storozum, Hannah Rae Davis, Maya Clare Watson and Jackson William Young.
