Passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Covenant Healthcare. He was 91 years old. Marvin was born August 10, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Max and Olga Brandle. He married the love of his life, Janice Lou McLeod on September 15, 1968 in Saginaw, Michigan. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2018. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he worked at Walter Reed Medical center with wounded soldiers. Marvin was a licensed real estate broker and owned Brandle Investments, retiring after 45 years of service. He was of the Jewish faith and a longtime member of the Temple B’nai Israel in Saginaw.
He loved spending time at his cabin on Lake Huron in Au Gres. Marvin also enjoyed traveling with his wife, fishing, watching professional wrestling and watching basketball. What he really loved most was spending time with his family.
Surviving are one daughter: Wendy (Michael) Steerman of Brant, MI; two granddaughters: Pria (Micah) Dorfmann and Asha (Chris) Justice; two great-grandsons: Landon Justice and Eli Dorfmann; and one great-granddaughter, Lucy Justice; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Jan McLeod; his beloved dachshund, Lucy; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Marvin was preceded in death by his sister, Bertha Roth and his brother, Donald Brandle.
