Marvin Lloyd Wallis, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on October 19, 2021.
He was preceded in death by wife, Annette Masters Wallis; son, Phillip Wallis.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Wallis (Tina) of Forsyth, GA, Scott Wallis (Carolyn Goodman) of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Heather Wallis of Joppatowne, MD, Taylor Wallis and Robby Baker of Blairsville, GA; Clay and Madison Wallis of Murphy, NC; great-grandchildren, Hudson Wallis, Hensley Wallis, Greyson Sparks, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nell and Thurmon Turk of Dacula, GA; several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Wallis was born on April 14, 1940 in Lawrenceville, GA.
He received his education at Dacula High School, Dacula, GA and also attended Mercer University. Mr. Wallis was retired and was the owner of Wallis Woodworks and worked at Flav-O-Rich Dairies. He also had worked for Southland Life Insurance for a number of years. Mr. Wallis was a strong supporter of Crosskeys Baptist Church in Macon, GA. He enjoyed his woodworking. He loved his family and was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
