Marvin L. DeVries, Sr., age 75, of Dyer, IN formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010.
Mr. DeVries is survived by his wife of 54 years: Elynore DeVries, nee Maatman; six children: Barbara (David) Hoekstra, Laura (John Jr.) Lagestee, Marvin L. DeVries Jr., Karyn (Doug) Justice, Kevin (Margie) DeVries and Kent (Carol) DeVries; grandchildren: Shari (Phil) Krygsheld, Kelly (Mike) Price, Holly (Nick) Ham, Heather Hoekstra, Stephanie DeYoung, Susan (Pits) Mixavyvanh, Jennifer (Mike) Sluiter, Jessica (Ben) Gaiser, Brandon , Sara, and Samantha Justice, Dylan, Corey, Joah, Carly and Keegan DeVries. And 13 great-grandchildren; one brother: Jack (Pat) DeVries and one sister: Janet (Thomas) Lolkema.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Alice DeVries, and one sister: Ruth Ann Poole.
