Marvin Jerl Roam, 80, Anderson, passed away January 9, 2012 at Methodist Hospital-Indianapolis after a sudden illness. He was born September 17, 1931 in Livingston, Tennessee, and resided in Anderson most of his adult life.
He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 45 years of service and he was a member of the U.A.W. Local #662.
He is survived by his son, Carlo Karen Roam of Champlin, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Uriah fiancee Brooke Roam, Shanna Stokes fiance Henry Brown, Carlo Jennifer Roam, Jessica John Neumann, and John Jr. Roam; three great grandchildren, Payton Roam, Jaxon Roam, and Marshall Neumann; special friends, Junior Key and Jim Harvey; and many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bommarito Roam on October 9, 2000; son, John Roam; parents, Jim & Mary Connor Roam; and brothers, Duvall, Ray and Vincel Roam.
