Details: Marvin E. Pulley, 78, an eight year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Calabash, NC died on May 28, 2009 at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1931 in South Boston , VA to the late Thad O. and Mae Pulley. Mr. Pulley retired in the late 1970’s after 21 years of service in the United State Air Force. He receive a Bronze Star from the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also retired in the mid 1990’s from Westinghouse Defense at BWI after 21 years of service. Mr. Pulley was a member for the American Legion Post #175 in Severna Park, the VFW Post #7288 in Calabash, NC, and the Paralyzed Veterans of America. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed crossword puzzles, his dog Sparky, and TV shows. Mr. Pulley is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Tyne Pulley, his sons Daniel O. Pulley of Pasadena, and Michael T. Pulley of FL, his daughter Susan Geldmacher of Pasadena, his sister Bootsie Epps of S. Boston, VA, and 3 grandchildren.
