Mr. Marvin E. Camp, 83, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at his home in Newnan surrounded by his family. He was born March 28, 1932 in Newnan, GA to the late Rev. Needham William Camp & Eula Eugenia Keith Camp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant son, Marvin Eugene Camp, daughter, Cathy Camp Lowery, four sisters, and two brothers. Mr. Camp was a longtime home builder in Coweta County where he built homes for numerous families. He and his family are members of the First Baptist Church. Even in his last days, his final words to his friends and family were that Jesus Christ was the only way to Heaven. In the words of the Lord, John 14:6. A lifelong builder, he not only leaves behind a physical legacy of the homes he built, but also the lives he touched, the friends he made, and by the example he lived. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frances Turner Camp; son, Mark (Tracie) Camp; daughter, Susan (Darren) Beckom; son-in-law, Joe Lowery; brother, Edward Camp; grandchildren, Leanne (Chuck) Willoughby, Joey (Rhonda) Lowery, Jamie (Scott) Royal, Lindsey Camp, Chad Fitzgerald, Kristen Fitzgerald, Chafin (Justin) Pitts; and 13 great-grandchildren.
