Marvin D. Young went home to be with the Lord on July 10th, 2020, surrounded by his loving family & will be greatly missed. He was born on Nov. 30th, 1945, in Lebanon, IN. The only child of Robert & Ruth (Dziggle) Young.
He attended Darlington High School & graduated in 1964. Then graduated from Indiana Business College. He was honorably discharged from the Army after 2 years. He proudly worked at R.R. Donnelly’s as a hoist driver before retiring after 44 years. He married Lydia Jean Wright in 1970 and had 49 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Jean and 3 daughters Trena (Patrick Alenduff), Tisha (Ron Zachary Jr.), Tifanie (Kyle Longest), and 7 wonderful grandkids whom he adored. Brandon, Devon, Shane, Jayden, Sidney, Logan, and Halle.
He loved watching the grandkids play sports. He was a big sports fanatic. He enjoyed farming, mushroom hunting, fishing, talking with friends and family, and being the jokester. You could always hear him going down the road singing to his favorite country songs. He loved to have the last word.
