Marvin Bonner Jr. son of the late Marvin Bonner Sr. and Gertrude Sykes Napper entered this world on October 10, 1962, in Decatur, AL. He departed this life on December 27, 2016 at his residence.
Marvin Jr. earned his education in Decatur School System. He later attended Calhoun Community College where he earned a Technical Degree in Machine Shop. He was employed with Saginaw, which later became Delphi for several years.
Early in life Marvin Jr. accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church under the leadership of Rev. Theodore Bone. Later in life he joined Bridge Builders International Church under the leadership of Pastors Darius and Alesia Crayton where he remained until he left to be with his Eternal Father.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, James, Margret Ann, Angela, and Dorothy.
He leaves to cherish his memory: brothers, Bobby Joe Pride (Dean) of Athens, AL, Larry and Michael Pride of Decatur, AL, sisters, Annie Wherry, of Decatur AL, Rose Marie Wilkerson (Tony) of Nashville, TN, Rose Mary Allen (George), and Diana Wherry of Decatur, AL. A special niece, Corrie Baker of Decatur, AL. A hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
