Marvin Edward Beckedahl was born on March 24, 1948, and he passed away on Nov. 24, 2016. The cause of death was due to cancer.
Marvin was born in N.D., and moved to Great Falls as a young man with his mother and stepfather where he lived most of his life.
Marvin was preceded in death by his father Herman Edward Beckedahl; mother Rose Anita (Poutts) Brasda; them other of his sons Terri Rae Ewing; and the mother of four of his daughters Patricia J. Beckedahl/Courtney.
Marvin is survived by many friends and loved ones including: sons Jerry and Timothy Ewing and their four children; daughters Sherri, Tiffany, Cari, Cristy, and Cindy and their eight children; his brothers, Larry, Gerry, Terry, Rayland and their 10 children; his sister Raylene and her three children; and last, but not least, his stepfather and lifelong friend Lawrence (Rusty) Brasda Sr.
Marvin was a rare man who seldom became angry and he never held a grudge for long. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family and wanted nothing more than a cold beer and a lit cigarette while they were together. He was especially proud of his grandchildren whom he also loved to spend time with. Marvin spent his last hours on Earth just like he lived his life…surrounded by his friends and family.
All of the family and friends of Marvin would like to give a special thanks to all of the nurses at Hospice who helped ensure that Marvin was able to spend his final days at home surrounded by friends and family.
