A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Marva Attoinette Rozier Love was born to Wellington Rozier and Vera Mae Tucker Seniors on October 6, 1941. She was a devoted mother who raised four very independent children – Wellington, Borris, Darlette and Latrece. Marva was a loyal sister to her siblings, Sonny, Patricia, Vernice

and Lisa and she cherished her five adoring granddaughters, Daterria, Taylor, Chandler, Nia and Channon. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin, Marva was often the thread that kept the family connected.

Marva was an accomplished seamstress but later in life it was her passion for cooking that she enjoyed the most. She was famous for her irresistible red velvet cake, perfectly spiced sweet potato pies and signature seafood salad, all of which were favorite holiday requests from family and friends.

While she will be missed dearly by family and friends, we take comfort in knowing that her unwavering faith and love for the Lord will give her eternal peace. Marva’s memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

May she rest in peace.
