Martine Elaine Johnson’s earthly journey began on April 5th, 1981 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the parents of Arnold Johnson and Ola King Johnson. Martine accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.
Martine received her formal education in the Sylacauga City School System and graduated with the Class of 99 at Sylacauga High School, Sylacauga, Alabama. After school, Martine worked various jobs including Walmart Supercenter, Sylacauga, Alabama and recently Sylacauga Health & Rehab for 15 years.
Martine, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and niece enjoyed life and raising her beautiful children. She was a sweet loving person that never met a stranger. She loved traveling to beaches every chance she got, living life to the fullest.
Martine departed this walk of life on October 15th, 2022 under the care of Ascension St. Vincent’s East Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Johnson, grandmothers, Eloise King and Mattie Mae Mickey, grandfathers, Jessie King and Lee Johnson.
Martine’s love will forever be cherished by her loving children, Latavius (Julia Rogero) Johnson, Christopher Eason, Christian Eason all of Sylacauga, AL, Lamya Johnson of Oxford, AL, Kourtney Speer and Emilee Hale both of Sylacauga, AL; sisters, Rashinda Johnson of Sylacauga, AL, and Latosha (Corey) Reynolds of Childersburg, AL; brother, Mario Jackson of Sylacauga, AL; one grandchild, five aunts, seven uncles, special friend, Demetrius Hale, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
