Preceded in death by parents, Peter and Mary (Connole) Foss of Litchfield;
siblings, Mary Ann, Peter, Joe, Tom and Ted; in-laws, Frank Hughes and Gloria Foss.
Survived by wife of 46 years, Gloria; daughter, Becky (Peter Quinn); sons,Tony and Andrew;
grandsons, Connor and Colin Quinn; siblings, John, Terry (Jack) O’Brien, Bernie Hughes, Claire (Merle)Bauer and sisters-in-law, Jane Kontowicz, Marie, Joyce and Linda Foss, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Marty graduated from St. Cloud State and received a Masters from The University of St. Thomas. He was a Fulbright Scholar and had a 39-year career in SPPS (33 at Ramsey Junior High). He loved the State Fair, his Norwegian Heritage and being an advocate for people with special needs. A gentle, humble, well-read man will be forever missed.
