Martin F. Kotecki Jr., 77, of Peru, passed away 1:20 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the home of his son in La Salle. Mr. Kotecki was born on October 23, 1932 in Peru to Martin and Helen (Spayer) Kotecki. He was a Shipping Supervisor at Carus Chemical for 39 years.
He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Moose club. He is survived by two daughters; Maureen (Russ) Lemmer of Oglesby and Michele Regina of Princeton; three sons, Mike (Sherry) Kotecki of Cary, Mark Kotecki of LaSalle, and Marty Kotecki of Cedar Point; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Salomone of South Carolina and Geri Sprague of Florida ; one brother, Richard Kotecki of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.
