91 years old, longtime resident of Miami, Martin passed away at Baptist Hospital.
He was born in Rochester, NY, and grew up in the Bronx.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He moved to Miami, FL to attend the University of Miami.
Upon graduation, he began teaching at Southwest Miami Senior High School where he worked his entire 37-year career. He coached many sports including gymnastics, golf, football, baseball, basketball and he taught driver’s education, physical education and health. He loved what he did and was a true educator.
After retirement, he enjoyed volunteer work and travel. He was an avid sports fan and animal lover.
He is preceded in death by his son, Grant Levin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Beverly Levin; his devoted daughters, Eileen Allen and Susan Sobolowski (Brian); by his daughter-in-law, Linda Levin; his seven grandchildren, Jennifer Roche (Josh), Heather Levin (Ian), Tiffany Levin, Megan Allen, Corey Levin (Anna), Mike Allen (Kelly) and Caroline Sobolowski and his four great-grandchildren, Addison Roche, Colton Roche, Grant Levin and Noah Allen.
He was a selfless and doting husband, a loving and caring father, and a great man.
He was very proud of his kids and grandkids.
He lived a wonderful life and will be extremely missed.
We love you forever.
