Marty was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He was a longtime resident of twenty-two years at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home and had a love for cars.
Marty is survived by his brother, Mark A. Gibej of Milford; two sisters, Maria Audet of Deland, FL and Marcia Gagliardi of Cape Coral, FL and several nieces and nephews.
