Martin A. (Marty) Thompson died Tuesday July 10, 2018, at Lewiston, Idaho, due to heart failure.
Marty was born January 18, 1936, to Martin L. and Lenorah E. (Harbke) Thompson in Nezperce, Idaho. He joined three sisters; Barbara, Genevieve, and Sarah Anne. Marty attended the Harbke School, Nezperce School, graduating from Nezperce High School in 1954. Marty then attended the University of Idaho for a short time before returning to the farm north of Nezperce upon the death of his father in the spring of 1955. Marty lived on the family farm for the rest of his life.
Marty married Barbara L. Johnson October 15, 1960. Daughter Cynthia S. (Cindy) was born in 1961 and son Martin N. (Mart) followed in 1963.
