Martha Sue was born January 6, 1949 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the later John McDaniel Sr. and Zella Beatrice Davis McDaniel. On December 20, 2016, she left her earthly journey to join her heavenly home.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Olive Church. Martha loved the Lord and her family.
She leaves behind her legacy and love to: her husband, John Strain of Decatur; two sons, Coynis (Latrice) Miller of Nashville, TN and Craigery Miller of Decatur; two daughters, Constance Miller and Christine Strain both of Decatur; six grandchildren, Jalessa Miller, Denarius Floyd, Deleeschia Cunningham, Javary Miller, Jarius Miller, Coynis Miller Jr., Payton Head and Jamaya Stennis; special grandchild, Ty Clay; two sisters, Flora Jennings and Bertha (Ronnie) Coleman; one brother, Lewis (Dean) McDaniel; a special nephew, James Roach and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
