Martha Schmidt Moe, 90 of West Melbourne, Florida, formerly of Milford, passed away Sunday July 3, 2011 in Florida. Born on September 12, 1920 in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Mary Jane Nims Hamilton. Martha was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest Schmidt and her second husband, Howard Moe.
Martha was a co-owner of Howards Variety in Milford for many years. Martha was known for her love of baseball and crafts. She travelled extensively across the United States with Howard. Martha was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Martha is survived by her three sons, Ernest A. Schmidt and his wife Lenore of West Melbourne, FL, Richard A. Schmidt and his wife Linda of Milford, Kurt L. Schmidt and his wife Michelle of Melbourne, FL; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Martha was also predeceased by her two grandchildren.
