Martha Ree Washington Dixon peacefully answered the Master’s call from her earthly residence in Frankville, AL on Friday, December 25, 2020. Born July 19, 1932, the twelfth of thirteen children to Henry Coleman and Martha Johnson Washington, she was 88.
Martha was a faithful member of the Whole Truth COGIC under the leadership of Supt. Solomon Smith. She met and Married Deacon Jimmie Dixon on January 15, 1951 and this union was blessed with three children. She enjoyed praising God, cooking, gardening, fishing, and family time.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Martha Dixon; her eldest son, Jimmie Dixon, Jr.; and eleven of her siblings.
Left to forever cherish her precious memories are her devoted husband of 69 years, Dea. Jimmie Dixon, Sr. of Frankville, AL; one devoted daughter, Ruth Morris of Frankville, AL; two devoted sons, Don (Debra) Dixon of Frankville, AL and Will Woodard (Maxie) of Shady Grove, AL; two devoted granddaughters; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a devoted sister, Edna Dixon of Frankville, AL; two sisters-in-law, Crezeel Sellers of Jackson, AL and Bertha Washington of Tampa FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives church family and friends.
