Martha R. (Wohlfahrt) Williams, 79, of Harwich and formerly of Upton, died early Monday at home after a long illness. She was the wife of Walter H. Williams and had been the Upton Town Clerk for 30 years, retiring in 2001.
Mrs. Williams was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Adolph and Viola (Pigeon) Wohlfahrt. After graduating from Commerce High School in Springfield, Mrs.
In addition to her husband of 61 years; she leaves four children, Leslie Cosgro of Millville, and Jeffrey, Tracy, and Kimberly Williams; and a grandson, Lucan Williams, all of Upton. She was also the sister of the late Richard Wohlfahrt.
