Beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Martha Perwanner Graves Day age 79 was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at Green Valley Campus of Cone Health in Greensboro, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Julius Graves and Mrs. Pauline Haith Graves; sisters, Ida Mae Randolph (Ray), Erline Harris (Thomas); brother, John Allen Graves, 1 niece, 2 nephews and 1 great nephew.
Left to mourn her loss is her husband, Monroe Day, children, Belinda Burnette (Bill), Julies Lea (Crystal) and Lawanner Lea. Step-children, Cecelia Allen, James Day and Cynthia Graves. Sister; Coline Graves; Brothers, J.D. Graves (Linda) and William Graves; 1 aunt, Bessie Haith, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Jeffries Cross Baptist Church Family, the Maple Grove Baptist Church Family, her friends and neighbors for keeping her lifted up in prayer for years. Thank You to Moses Cone Hospital Staff and Select Specialty Hospital Staff for the care given to her.
