Martha (Pernod) Medler, age 87, of Marion, IN, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Twin City Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Gas City, IN. Mrs.Medler was a Homemaker and was a member of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. Martha was an excellent seamstress. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Pernod and the late Bessie (Berry) Pernod. She was born on November 21, 1922 in Jonesboro, IN. She attended Fairmount High School. Martha married Charles Clancy Medler. He preceded her in death in 2007. Martha is survived by: Three Sons: Charles Medler, Battle Creek, MI William (Ann) Medler, Bay City, MI Larry (Brenda) Medler, Marion, IN Two Sisters: Norma Pernod, Marion, IN Phyllis West, Marion, IN One Brother: James (Mary Jane) Pernod, Fairmount, IN Ten Grand Children 28 Great-Grand Children She was preceded in death by brothers; Robert, Arthur, Charles, Harold Pernod, Sister Ruth O’Brian and Son David Medler.
