Mrs. Martha Lou Rearden Billingsley, age 91, of Beulah, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL.
Mrs. Billingsley is survived by her six children, Alvin Richard Billingsley of Lanett, AL, Randall Steve “Duck” Billingsley of Lanett, Al, Susan Howard of Gulf Shores, AL, Deborah (Wes) Rookstool of Philadelphia, TN, Becky (Barry) Shemwell of Auburn, AL, and William Oliver Billingsley of Gulf Shores, AL; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin O. Billingsley; her daughter, Martha Brenda Hamby; two daughters in law, Brenda H. Billingsley and Laurie D. Billingsley.
Mrs. Billingsley was born on July 15, 1924 in Ridge Grove, AL. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for a number of years. She enjoyed fishing and was a great cook who always liked preparing meals for her family.
