Martha “Ernesteen” Lee, 93, of Terre Haute, passed away at 1:31 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Patricksburg, IN on March 4, 1920 to Samuel Collie Bryant and Goldie Shear Bryant. She is survived by her daughter Mary Heller, grandchildren Tammy Terry & husband Greg, Terry Johnson & wife Debi, Toni Johnson, and a very special friend who was like another granddaughter to her, Beth Truax. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Erin Terry, Jennifer Higgs & husband Kevin, and Christina Johnson, as well as five great great grandchildren. Ernesteen is also survived by her brother, Walter Wayne Bryant, and two sisters, Altha Mitchel and June Pittsenbarger. Other survivors include a special sister-in-law, Mildred Johnson, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Franklin Lee, a daughter, Patricia Steigerwald, and one brother, Malcolm Bryant.
