Martha L. “Marty” McCoy Myers, 69, Anderson, passed away October 14, 2009 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born February 22, 1940 in Richland, Indiana, and resided in this area most of her life. She worked at St. John’s Health System Anderson Center as a nursing assistant and mental health assistant. She loved reading, cooking, crocheting and taking care of family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Myers; children, Tammy Myers O’Bryant David, Kelly Myers Collett Richard and Frank Myers Loyd McElveen; grandchildren, Ashly Chance, Bobby Chance and Rachel Collett and an extra special companion, Phoebes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll “Mac” McCoy and Margaret Duvall Collins and siblings, June Janes, Howard McCoy and Don McCoy.
