Martha L. Downey, 85, of Anderson, passed away January 13, 2017 at Crown Point Assisted Living Facility in Anderson.
She was born on November 25, 1931 in Guilford, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. She retired from Delco Remy in Anderson where she worked in production. She was a member of Wesley Free Methodist Church in Anderson, and U.A.W Local 662.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Paula (Stephen) Henderson of Roanoke; 3 sisters, Barbara Seaver of Meridian, MS, Thelma Reese of Milan, and Judy Nichols of Cincinatti, OH; Grandson, Chaz (Elizabeth) Halsell of Fishers; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Victoria Halsell and Stephen Halsell both of Fishers; Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Friends, Dr. Doug (Laura) Smith and Jeri and Erin Smith.
She was preceded in death by mother, Alta Gulley; father, Elmer Gulley; 3 brothers, Melvin Gulley, Orville Gulley, and Hubert Gulley; sister, Mamie Malone; 3 Brother-in-Laws, Harold Seaver, Grover Reese, and Nicholas Nichols.
