Martha Jane (Dennis) Vertrees went peacefully into the arms of our Lord on April 4, 2016. Born in Dayton, Ohio on July 14, 1924, she lived most of her life in Northwest Indiana, before moving to Fort Myers, Florida in 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Carrol Weaver Vertrees and her beloved granddaughter, Emily Owen. She is survived by her children Jonathan (Mara) Vertrees, Vicki (Dave) Ward, Frederick Vertrees, and Rebecca (Dennis) Owen; five grandchildren- Marisa, Annabelle, Eli, Savannah and Lauren, and four great grandchildren.
