Martha J. Marsh Logan, 73, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at the Lynd House in Muncie. She was born January 4, 1937, in Angola, the daughter of Wade and Nellie (Simmons) Shumaker. She moved to the Muncie area with her family and graduated from DeSoto High School in 1955.
Martha was employed at Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts, where she taught quilting for twenty years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed playing the piano, collecting old sheet music, knitting, crocheting and quilting.
Surviving are her husband, John D. Logan; her daughter, Amy Sue Myers, (husband, Dan), North Manchester; two sons, James Richard Marsh, (wife, Marcella), Indianapolis, and Jonathan Andrew Marsh, (wife, Anita), Anderson; four step-children, Paula Schultz, (husband, Earl), Phoenix, Arizona, Pam Butler, (husband, Jerry), Greenwood, Mark Logan, (wife, Janet), Beech Grove, John R. Logan, Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren; and her brother, John Shumaker, Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Marsh, and her brother, James Shumaker.
