Martha Frances Morris, 101, of Boerne passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021.
Frances Morris was born on August 22, 1920 in Ajo, Arizona to the late Felix and Emily Garrett. She married Rawlins Marion “Wayne” Morris on June 30, 1937, in Alpine, Texas. Together they had Marilyn, Gary, and Robert during Rawlins’ time in the military. Frances was a strong, charismatic woman that loved music, comedy, reading, the NY Times crossword (in pen!), and anything purple, especially a hat. She spent time volunteering, and was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and her church.
Frances was survived by her children, Robert and Gary; her little brother, Felix; her baby sister, Mary; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn; and her sisters, Joyce and Olivia.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Cibolo Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center for their quality care during her last several years, to Amy Gunn, Russell Miller, and to First United Methodist Church Boerne where Sunday school was the thing she looked forward to the most each week.
